Foundation
Grounded on a shared vision of 'a future in which all beings can coexist on an Earth that only belongs to itself' with the Fundação Terra Agora, the Idanha-à-Vida Project benefits from their support and trust, also moving towards its objectives of regeneration and conservation, as well as of paradigm shift regarding the appropriation and ownership concept of land.
‘Fundação Terra Agora is a Portuguese foundation whose mission is to preserve and restore land in Portugal.’
Fundação Terra Agora is a Portuguese foundation whose mission is to preserve and restore land in Portugal. It does this in part by committing to never selling the land it acquires in the form of strategic assets. The foundation then assigns very long-term land use rights (direitos de superfície) to a guardian with a specific vision.
The foundation has the ultimate guardianship responsibility and, as such, will monitor the long-term plan of Idanha-à-Vida with Plantarfuturo - the main guardian project - to ensure that the vision is always clear and within the parameters of clearly defined guidelines.
